This is a picture of us in front of the Statue of Liberty. Unfortunatly no one bothered to make sure that the statue was in view. I do believe it is behind Jeremy's head. And yes that is Brian's lip pouting. I think he has decided to take after his uncle Evan and never do an ordinary smile face in pictures. I really don't mind at all except when we do a picture for the christmas card or at a photo shoot where I pay for them to be taken.

Jeremy at the graduation dinner getting one of his awards. This on was because he got his AS and BS all from the same college without transferring credits from another college. He also received a medal for graduating with honors. You go Jer. We are very proud of all his hard work and in school at work and at home. That's my man.

Red Heads

We had a chance to see Rick and Rachael, Alicia, and Travis while visiting Tucson. We went down to the bowling alley to play a couple of games. BOY are the Habitzruethers good, all four of them. Alicia beat Jeremy on the last game. I never realize I have short children until I see them next to others. Alicia is almost a whole head taller then Jess. It's fun to see them together again because they still love eachother so much no matter how much time has passed and they love the same things. Alicia also has a purple tinkerbell bedroom! Jess thought that was just amazing.

Wii want to play

The Wii was a big hit in Tucson. Everyone loved to bowl. Even little Morgan, 3 years old, figured out how to get a few strikes. I think Courney was the winner of the night with the highest score in bowling and Phil in baseball. I expect this will be the last time we need to take our Wii to Tucson. I think they will all own one by our next visit.

I DID IT!!!

I went to the local high school this last June to see what it would take for me to graduate high school. Well apparently all it took was for me to ask. After receiving my high school transcripts they determined I met the high school requirement to graduate and just took a high school exit exam and that was it. I finished high school. I had the opportunity to walk on Saturday and I almost didn't want to but Jeremy talked me into it. I didn't even know I was going to get a cap and gown. I thought it would be a small little thing just stating we had graduated. I was very wrong. There were about 144 graduates ranging from 17 years old to 68 years young. I got to wear a cap and gown (thank goodness I had cash on me) and I got a tassel. I always wanted one of those. Now I am thinking about talking to the college to see how far I am from an associates degree in generals. I went to school so long it probably wont be much.
